A little late entry but here I am...
Its Tuesday, 6 weeks into the internship program, and I have to go to Santa Monica today to do some paper work to officially be employed with this company.
Other then that.... I completed the internship requirements but will still be living at 'The Medows'.
Last week I learned how to use an online distribution data base to figure out what marketing and promotional tools are cost effective for certain albums and genres at the labels that we work on behalf of. I also went over several contracts of well known artist and record labels that my mentor has established deals with. I went to an in store, sat in conference calls and meetings.
I am very interested in how my following weeks will develop. I will have a lot of work to do, and a lot to learn. I also will have to get up earlier!!!!
To be at the office before 8 am every day... I would have to start taking the bus between 6 and 6:30 am. On Wednesday's I will have to be at the office before 6 am..... That means I will get up around 4 am...... I will take a bus between 4 and 4:30am...... Hmmm.... Good luck to me, going to sleep earlier, waking up on time and not to missing a bus!
Waking up early in California is not so hard because at least it isn't below zero, snow, ice, cars that won't start up etc....
