This week was a mental challenge for me.
I did the same sort of things that I've been doing the whole time, however this week seemed to be up in my head too much. Sometimes we all just need to take a step back and refocus our energy and determination back on to our goals. It's easy to get side tracked out here. This whole city is a booming hub of entertainment. It's easy to loose oneself amidst the constant hustle that goes on out here on a daily basis, it can be a bit of a whirl-wind that takes you for a ride in circles, but never really gets anywhere, which is what I contended with this week.
Saturday, however, was a great day. I finally got to get out of the apartment and see some real sights. It was a day of reflection and realignment, further affirming my goals and aspirations of making money in the industry out here.
I got to see some very cool places that have alot of musical history in them. As well as meet some people that were very inspirational and very wise.
This weekend was just what I needed to put me back in the right mind to do what I set out to accomplish. I can't wait for these next few weeks. I'm expecting some very cool things to happen!
