I worked on the eve of thanksgiving at Wooddale. There was a service for people to come and share what they were thankful for. So pretty much that meant running a handful of wireless mics for random people to come say things in... every person speaking a lot louder of softer than the people before them so it keeps you on your toes. There wasn't much setup for it just getting four handheld wireless mics synched and patched into the room.

Earlier that day we tested out new podium mics. Now that we are broadcasting recorded sermons we need to have a mic that isn't in the picture and covering his face. We want some type of podium mic as a backup incase his wireless pack were to die to have interference. We tried a mic that sit flat like on a desktop. It was just not close enough to the pastors mouth to pick up what he was saying without feeding back. We are going to try more mics in weeks to come and see what we can find out.
